Financial Analyst - ACA, ACCA, CIMA (Qualified or Part Qualified)

An opportunity has now arisen for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team.

This is the ideal role for someone who's part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA and has excellent reporting skills, to develop their career with a successful specialist healthcare and insurance group.

In this newly created role, as the Financial Analyst you will join the expanding Finance team and enjoy broad interactions across finance and operational functions. This position will involve some client-facing duties which means a great personality and strong communication skills are key.

Your responsibilities will include:

- developing, designing and introducing regular and ad-hoc management information for clients
  and the business
- modelling and analysing business data in order to produce commercially-focused reports for
  senior management
- establishing and reviewing processes and controls in finance and operational areas
- integrating new business acquisitions
- documenting workflows, policies and procedures

To be considered for this position, you must:

- be part qualified or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- have strong reporting and data interpreting abilities
- be a proficient user of Access, Excel and SQL

As a Financial Analyst, you should also be an excellent communicator with good analytical skills, the ability to work in a team and a confident approach. You should be able to work on your own initiative. Any experience using Crystal Reports would be beneficial to your application.

Medical Case Manager - Healix Health Services

Salary c £36, 000 pro rata

Healix Health Services Ltd is a healthcare company providing medical advisory and case management services in the UK.

Due to further expansion we are looking to recruit a number of registered nurses. Our Medical Case Managers remotely coordinate a number of Corporate and Insured healthcare schemes providing clients and members with the following:

  • Medical advice on current treatments and specific treatment plans.
  • Advice on medical services and treatments available in the UK and how to access these.
  • Case Management from initial consultation to discharge.
  • Access to and management of Early Intervention Medical Schemes.


Successful applicants will have:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within the team and directly with clients.
  • The ability to work independently, planning and prioritising their caseload.


Ideally you will be a registered general nurse with a minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience in adult nursing. Basic computer literacy is required.

Positions will be based in our Hampton office which is located just off the M3 / approx. 30 minutes from Clapham Junction by train. The positions are full time based on a 35 hour working week, Monday to Saturday.

HEALIX INTERNATIONAL - MEDICAL ESCORT GUIDELINES

Registered Nurses:

  • Current registration with the NMC - Level 1 or 12
  • RCN membership
  • Minimum of 4 years post registration experience
  • 2 years recent experience in a critical care area
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Preference given to applicants with a relevant post registration qualification
  • Specialist qualification for air ambulance and paediatric repatriations including current ALS/PALS certification
  • Ability to work independently and think laterally
  • Excellent personal and professional references


Doctors:

  • Current registration with the General Medical Council
  • Minimum of 6 years post registration experience
  • Post registration specialist qualification ie MRCP/FRCA/FRCS/DipAvMed
  • Current ALS/PALS certification
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Excellent personal and professional references
  • Ability to work independently and think laterally


Escort Guidelines

  • Must complete an orientation course provided by Healix International, subjects covered include:
    • Introduction to the assistance industry
    • The role of Healix International in relation to the assistance industry
    • Communications
    • Aviation medicine
    • The role of the repatriation escort
    • Legal and financial aspects of repatriation work
    • Overview of equipment
  • All escorts are provided with an Escort Information Pack which emphasizes the above
  • Individual instruction is also given prior to the escort's first repatriation and on an as required basis


Professional Development

  • All escorts must retain registration with the appropriate professional body (NMC/GMC)
  • Escorts must update their clinical skills at regular intervals
  • Registered nurses are required to fulfill PREP requirements as required by the NMC - this includes evidence of post registration education and training
  • Nurse escorts are encouraged to join, and participate in, the In Flight Nurses Association which is affiliated with the Royal College of Nursing
  • Medical escorts are required by the GMC to undergo regular professional updates
  • Every escort's suitability for repatriation work is reviewed on an ongoing basis by random audit
